On the afternoon of March 29th, Xiao Jianzhong, associate editor of Henan Daily Press Group, gives lectures on invitation in the east lecture hall on the first floor. He shares and talks about front-line reporting group’s practices on the theme of Innovations and challenges in news arena about the two sessions.
On behalf of our school, dean Yangmengya expresses heartfelt thanks to Xiao and gives him a warm welcome. Then party secretary Wang Wenke awards the appointment letters to Xiao and officially engages him as the visiting professor of our school.
As commander of front-line reporting group this year, focused on pattern of news media development and the traits of news reports today, in combination of his own practice and experiences, Xiao shares his ideas with delegation of teachers and students and industry participants who are present.
When it comes to attainment and experiences of front-line reporting on the two sessions, Xiao introduces a special program entitled “a date with chief editor”. Xiao Jianzhong, graduated from Department of Chinese Studies, Zhengzhou University in 1984, served in Henan Daily Press Group, successively held the posts of journalist, editor, group leader, deputy director and director, commander of front-line reporting group of Henan Daily Press Group during the two sessions in 2018.
