On the afternoon of April 19, the welcoming ceremony of Dr. Taras Sergeevich from Moscow University for visiting our college was held in the conference room. Yang Mengya, dean of the college, Wang Pengfei, associate dean, and Liu Yang, PhD, attended the welcoming ceremony. The conference was hosted and interpreted by Professor Yang Zhi of our college.
Yang sprouted a warm welcome to Taras and fully affirmed the learning atmosphere and humanistic atmosphere of Moscow University. He said that he hopes to deepen cooperation on the basis of the cooperation agreement signed in 2017, strengthen the communication and interaction between teachers and students, and further promote the development of the “3+1+2” project, the exchange of mutual visits by teachers, and joint scientific research. Taras represented Moscow University with great enthusiasm for cooperation with our college. He said that Moscow University has set up a Chinese language training course at the end of last year to build a language foundation for the exchanging between us.He hoped that the two sides will make breakthroughs in their thoughts and actions and effectively promote the “2+2” project between the two universities to strengthen the communication and interaction by means of projects and academic research. He emphasized that the teaching language of Moscow University is mainly Russian. International students should learn Russian well and communicate and study in Russian. As for the idea of Yang Mengya's proposal that undergraduate students in our college participate in Belarusian exchanges to study at Moscow University, Talas believes that it has the strong feasibility.Wang Pengfei emphasized the importance of cooperation between our college and the Russian-speaking countries in the aspects of our nation and our college. He also showed a strong willingness to actively promote bilateral cooperation and visits. Liu Yang fully affirmed the solid strength of Moscow University in research and teaching.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged gifts and took photos together. Taras visited the school classroom and demonstration center under the leadership of our college.
