Chen Kailun, the famous presenter who had won “the Best Presenter Host” of the Golden Bell Award three times from Taiwan, was invited to give a lecture about “Exceeding the Influence of Microphone” on the first floor of the east auditorium, while our Principal Yang Mengya accompanied with some teachers and students came to the scene, in the morning, April 14. The lecture was hosted by Qiang Haifeng, a teacher of our school's broadcast department.
At the beginning, Chen Kailun took an engagement of “the importance of wiping microphones with an alcohol pad” for example so as to give his point of what media workers in this new age need being constantly updating ideas, knowing clearly yourself, and keeping a best condition in ceaseless growing and testing. Based on his several years of experiences, Chen concluded a motto of eight words: “Say what you did, do what you said”; he suggested that a presenter host should stick in empathy and never-ending study.
The lecture was ended in a video which revealed Chen Kailun’ s working and living in a dozen years, including love, heart-moving, and influence. After years of rising and sinking, he has learned to keep going when he encountered the suffering, which was transferred by him into a positive energy and passed out through microphone.
Chen Kailun, a presenter host of Taiwan Television and HongKong Television, served as the producer and presenter in several radio and television programs of Taiwan Television and HongKong Television from 1988 to 2002, and he received a lot of praise in the industry. He had won “the Best Presenter Host” of the Golden Bell Award three times, also “the Excellent elite” of the Taiwan Cultural and Creative Award in 2017. His publications included the Tug of War Between Perpetuity and Hope(a record of a personal, interior journey), Whispers of 50 Buds(a collection of the television program Happy 999 ), Idols’ answers(a collection of The Appointment with Women), and True Feelings cannot be Hidden(a collection of The Appointment with Women), etc.
